MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD:

SUBJECT: Telephone Conversation between AMBIDDY-1 and Martin Ferrer

DATE: 7 April 1964

1. It was brought to the attention of AMBIDDY-1 that the MRR is the only Cuban exile organization that has not properly registered with the United States Government. A-1 will attend to the registration.

2. A-1 requested to check his P.O. Box.

3. A-1 reported receiving information this morning that ADELAIDA en route to Nicaragua.

4. Concerning his visa, he stated he had received an FS 510 form. According to him these forms have to be filled and submitted to the U.S. American Embassy in Managua. A-1 was asked if ADELAIDA now has the U.S. re-entry permit. A-1 does not properly know. He believes ADELAIDA has the card, but not the re-entry permit form book.

5. A-1 was informed that all village radios will be shipped to Managua and none would be sent to Miami for him to hand carry. It is hoped that these village radios will arrive in time for the operation. Should this not be the case they have TRC-10s which could serve the same purpose as the village radios.

6. Dr. Morales is expected to call Sisto Mesa advising the survey has been completed. Dr. Morales will request Mesa that his three DRE engineers return to the States. A-1 was asked to make sure that Mr. Morales' message reaches the engineers.

7. The soil sample sent from Nicaragua is still in the possession of AMBIDDY-1.

8. A-1 was requested to notify his propaganda personnel not to make any mention of Brazil and their radio broadcasts. A-1 agreed.
