SUPPLEMENT TO AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF INT. A. ARON During the years I spent in the Soviet Union I had many friends. Among them were writers, journalists, engineers, doctors and professionals in different fields. It would be very useful to list all of them. For instance, during the last year I met a new neighbor in the building I moved into. He was a professor in the field of economics. His name was Barinov and he told me many things which I never knew about concerning the economic tasks of the Soviet's state. He noted that with a minimal labor force and a decreasing number of workers, the U.S.A. by 100% more productivity of labor than the industrial productivity workers there have. While studying in high school I became acquainted with a well-known movie producer - Alexander Stolper. He is the director of one of the students at whom I was friendly in high school. Besides, through a friend in college I met several writers and journalists such as Zaytsevich, Blokstoy, and others working in the field of sports. It is interesting to note all other fields of industry never talk about their work. And even though my relatives (friends of my wife’s husband worked in the field of aviation and electronics) I did not know anything about their work. I only knew that one of them worked in a secret research institute and another near school (both in Moscow). Her brother’s name is Lev Klimin and her brother-in-law’s name is S. M. Bershadsky. During the last years I worked as a translator and met many people who were born in the U.S.A. Among them are: Ernst Gaisman, Paul Shiman, Grace Jutes-Siggy (nee Sigov) - now in Italy, and many others.
