Summary: 1. Leaders of the Movimiento Democrata Cristiano (MDC), including Armando Valladares Matilla, traveled to Miami from the Dominican Republic in late May 1966. They discussed the possibility of reactivating a base in the Dominican Republic and alliances with other emigre organizations. However, the Dominican Republic government has not yet granted approval for such activities. 2. Laurencio Batista-Falla, organization secretary of the MDC, traveled to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in June 1966 to discuss these matters further. 3. Batista-Falla reported that the MDC is willing to cooperate with the CIA to achieve its goals.
