JOB DESCRIPTION:
Chief of Station at Barcelona. Administration of office. Preparation of all administrative and intelligence reports emanating from Barcelona office. Direction of Barcelona station. Direction of Bilbao station with contact maintained by occasional visits to that area. Processing of Bilbao material. Preparation on behalf of the Consulate General, Barcelona, of political reports of persons or military activity on behalf of the Military Attaché, Madrid, and of weekly report on movement of naval vessels on behalf of the Naval Attaché, Madrid (through the Consulate General). Cooperation with the Joint British-American Trust Control (ACC), Madrid, on "safe haven" cases. Liaison with British IS.
