Conien/General Don meeting at Nha Trang with the following agreements reached: (a) General Duong Van Minh developed a private movement plan with Conien; (b) General Ton That Dinh (Commandant General, III Corps) explained he had been urged by Diem Government officials to assume the Military Governor of Saigon between 21 August and 26 September 1963; (c) Generals, stressing the intent of September 1963, ambition to avoid the President Diem to accord them positions in the government; stress that they did not support Diem's actions.
