MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director (Intelligence)

SUBJECT: Commendations of DDI Personnel

1. For the past several months my office has had an urgent and a continuing need for intelligence about [redacted] for intelligence in that activity that to one office or another almost every DDI component contributed.

2. Each of these offices as well as individuals within the DDI area responded in a highly impressive timely and supplement. Their contributions were thorough in their coverage and fast in their preparation.

3. It is difficult to cite the work of particular individuals and components of DDI because such recognition has essential labor must share some of the attention. Taking the chance that such work might unfairly be unmentioned, nevertheless believe that the work of the following individuals and units deserves special recognition:
