7. In January 1962, Arturo VIGUERA and Roberto SANCHEZ were preparing to depart from Cuba. AMBROSIO/S and AMBROSIO/S friend (name unknown) changed their funds. C/O Consort: A woman named Maria who was living with a Brazilian. This girl later came closer to the CIA via the Brazilian Embassy in Havana. The funds consisted of $500.00. AMBROSIO/S said that Eddy GALLON was bad, likes money, women, etc., and subject called Subject here in Miami on 28 August and wants to talk with him.

8. VIGUERA informed AMBROSIO/S that he had doubts about Juan SUSTANEVITS. He had asked too many questions while he was AMBROSIO/S had brought to Cuba. AMBROSIO/S decided to call a "false meeting" of the chiefs of the movement to test SUSTANEVITS but "someone objected to this". In February 1962, a meeting of the leaders of the MRR took place and AMBROSIO/S reorganized the movement. Subject met AMBROSIO/S only twice once in February 1962 at the house of Ernest CASTRO and another time in March 1962 when the assassination of Juan MARTINELLO failed. The operation failed as the automobile to be used in the assassination attempt was stolen on the day of the proposed operation. The driver of the car was to be Orlando CRUZ, brother of Estuar CRUZ. The MRR suspected Orlando CRUZ of this incident as he is a person who likes money and the theft was "quite a coincidence". (Orlando CRUZ is presently in Miami.) He called Subject on 28 August and wants to see him. AMBROSIO/S informed the group in Miami to send all applications to him. Returned from Cuba, the trip was in late May 1962 and AMBROSIO/S placed CAPTAIN in charge of the radio sets.
